Marc Dorion
Marc Dorion was born with spina bifida which resulted in paralysis in his legs. At CHEO he discovered the sport of sledge hockey and began playing at the age of four and has never looked back.
When he was 15, Marc earned his spot on Team Canada due to his determination and strong work ethic. Dorion has played in many historic games including the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, the 2006 Paralympic Games in Torino, and the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games to name a few!
As a patient and volunteer at the Rehab Centre (TRC), Marc is excited to be this year’s speaker at Spring into Motion. Marc sees how TRC staff and volunteers care deeply for patients and provide the tools and resources necessary for individuals to regain their independence.
